Kamal B. Tamang is not only an experienced but also dynamic trekking and mountain guide of Nepal. Born in ...... in 1970, Mr. Tamang has been in the field of adventure tourism since 1990. He started his career from Sagarmath Trekking and worked with the company until 2000.

As a trekking guide, he has already visited Marco Valley, Sikkim, Tibet and all the major trekking areas of Nepal. Moreover, he has climbed trekking peaks (up to 6,500m) like Lobuche, Island Peak, Mera Peak, Chulu Peak, Thorang Peak and Mardi peak.

The enthusiastic and hard working guide has undertaken several training programmes such as cook, trekking guide, rock climbing, mountaineering and first aid. His hobbies include visiting places of senic beauty, climbing and trekking.

He can speak Nepali, Tamang, English, Hindi, Japanese and Tibetan languages.
